Rob Love

Peace and Love.  My name is Rob Love and I am an artist!  It took me while to learn how to lead my introductions with this truth but it is so...And I take every opportunity to do it.  My medium is words and my tool of choice is an evergrowing purpose to enlighten, heal, elevate, inspire and liberate. Back in 2007 while in college at Arkansas-Pine Bluff (HBCU's Baaaby!) I got the notion that I had something to say so I started listening, writing and discovering my voice.  More than ten years later here I stand. After working as a journalist, a part time educator and a librarian (among other things) I own that I am a writer, an author, a poet, a speaker, an elder to youth and, most important of all, a warrior for truth and light. Responsibilities that, I must say, I love and do not take for granted. 

To this point I have written and published seven books of poetry.  In my work you'll find Me; accessible, transparent, flawed, honest. Hopefully, you'll see your reflection.  I speak about the ills and the beauties, the light and the darkness, Love, loss, Blackness, Joy, trauma, triumph. Life.
